So I’ve been meaning to try out this trend for a little while now (about a couple of years lol) ever since I saw it on Rihanna, but I just didn’t quite get it. Anyway Rih is like the Queen of slay so she can literally get away with what us plebeians can only dream of trying. Needless to say I’ve matured a bit in my fashion sense and I can safely say that I understand the trend better.
Obviously at first glance you can’t help but frown at the idea because it’s just so counter-intuitive… in a good way of course if you keep an open mind! This is my take on the look. I’ve kept things somewhat monochromatic and added the leather jacket to give it a badass vibe. If you’re bold and like taking risks then this look is tailored for you. I will definitely be experimenting with this look more this A/W 2016.
