In-your-face lace

For the longest time I’ve been delaying this post because I’ve had nothing to say about this look other than that I really just LOVE this outfit. Writers block is a real thing also!

I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this look and I loved how my new hairstyle just added a different personality to the look. I guess it was also just a good day and I wasn’t as awkward in front of the camera as I usually am. I also came to the conclusion that winter fashion doesn’t always have to consist of dark, neutral or your typical Winter/Autumn brown colours but that adding some bold colours and prints is not such a bad idea. This is also my second time wearing an outfit with flared pants so that’s still a thing for me this season and I’m definitely stocking up on more.

What I love about these pants is obviously the dramatic pop of colour and I paired them with this lace top to sort of pick up on the lace panels on the pants. The see-through black lace top doesn’t take away from the class of the outfit by making it look  tacky and too revealing but rather gives the outfit a more edgy and editorial vibe. I can totally add a fur coat, leather jacket or poncho to the outfit on days that are a little colder.
