GREYSCALE: PART I

Greyscale image series

This post has obviously been a long time coming and I’m guilty of having a stash of images waiting to be posted but writers block has reared its ugly head again. Even so, with said writers block still being a sad reality, I’ve decided to leave my images here lest you forget my existence. Also, the past 5 hours have also had my stomach in knots owing to pure excitement and nerves. Big things are definitely coming up here on 1NE2WENTY3HREE sooner rather than later so don’t forget about me just yet. Nothing like a little good news to get you out of the sluggish state I have recently assumed.

I’ve decided to do a little ‘series’ of images that I will shoot and later edit to greyscale. How long this series will go on for only time will tell. I’ve always been a fan of black and white photographs because they carry a different mood and make a photo look ‘deep’ in every sense of the word. I hope I’ve articulated my love for greyscale photos in a way that makes sense. This photoshoot has been one I’d been meaning to do for a long while before I actually got down to it. Got to experiment with light, shadows, silhouettes, structure and timing.

Hope you like them!

Xo.
