God is in the detail

“I am constantly changing and evolving and the girl I was a few months ago- even days, can be monumentally different to the girl that I am at present. Something about being at a higher place, not so?”

My first post of 2017 comes well into the end of the first month but better late than never although never late is better (thanks Drake). This may seem a little reminiscent of inconsistency- on my part, especially in a world of fast consumption but be that as it may, I’d rather provide you with interesting content rather than content that borders on the lines of being plain boring while I inundate you with ‘ootd’s’ and reasons why you absolutely have to jump onto the latest trend in whatever the fashion fad is this season. This is just about me wearing what I like and hoping the feeling is mutual.

On this rather hot day (as per usual in Pretoria), I met up with newly found friend and photographer, Kunle for a little impromptu shoot at my favourite (read convenient) parking lot. I say impromptu not because this meeting was on the spur of the moment, but because I had no idea what I was going to wear until about an hour before meeting him. Sometimes last minute situations are just what you need to get the creative juices flowing.

That’s one thing that I absolutely love about blogging, I get to meet all sorts of interesting individuals and learn new things along the way. It truly is a journey of discovering and personal enhancement in all respects! I’m not calling myself a liar but who knew how prophetic my bio (to your left) would come to be. It’s the small, simple things that will eventually crescendo into the bigger picture.

As the days to my 23rd birthday draw nearer, I am slowly embracing that I am who I am and should not be apologetic about it. More so, I am constantly changing and evolving and the girl I was a few months ago- even days, can be monumentally different to the girl that I am at present. Something about being at a higher place, not so? I really have to work on how to effectively use metaphors *rolls eyes*.

PS: Somebody please remind me to close my mouth next time. Awksies!

Xo.
